Our start

This isn’t just a bakery.

It’s the beating heart of a comeback story. The Pink Lemonade Cake Company was born in the aftermath of unimaginable loss, created by a woman who turned grief into grace and sorrow into something soul-stirringly sweet. When I lost my husband, Elijah Lewis “Louie” Smalls, my world stopped, then everything I knew shattered. But instead of letting the pain consume me, I chose to rise. And I rose with purpose and power. With flour-covered hands and a blazing fire in my spirit, I built something that honored Louie’s memory, his unwavering work ethic, and our shared dream of entrepreneurship.
